As a DontGoAlone.com member, you will have a variety of options and capabilities with which you can safely coordinate meeting others of similar interests for specific events.

Member Search

The primary function of DontGoAlone.com is the ability to search the database on specific member criteria, such as age, gender or areas of interest. Upon entering your criteria and clicking "Search," a list of results will be generated.

Member Search Results

The generated results will contain the usernames of other members, a brief description of each, and a link to their profile, for more information. From a member's profile, you can also click a link to anonymously contact them to initiate a discussion.

MyProfile

When you first become a member you can set up your Profile. Your profile is only available to other members.

Edit Profile

You can edit almost anything about yourself that you wish to appear online, from a photo or avatar, to detailed information about your specific interests. The editor also features a few styles and formatting options that you can use to enhance your profile and reflect your personality.

Events Search

In addition to searching for members, you can also search for Events that fit your desired criteria. Search by Event Title, Location or Date Range, as well by general category (such as Sports).

Upon searching for Events, a list of relevant Event listings will be generated, displaying basic information, with a link to more detailed information about each.

MyContacts

After viewing the profile of another member, you may wish to initiate further discussion, and you can do so, while maintaining your anonymity. Contacts are simply private messages to other members. When sending a new Contact message, DontGoAlone.com automatically notifies the recipient by email that a new Contact has arrived.
