Actually, no. First, you must be at least 18 years old to join. Second, you must reside in the continental United States. There are plans for extending DontGoAlone.com to include all international areas and events around the world, but at this time, distance calculations and other functions depend on the U.S. zip code system.

How do I know that my personal information is secure?

DontGoAlone.com uses a secure ColdFusion system that assures solid security against hackers. No one can obtain to your information until you provide it to them. As the entire nature of DontGoAlone.com is to provide a safer, more secure means for people of similar interests to meet for events, we have taken many measures to assure a safe, secure environment for members to search and contact one another, even anonymously, until a higher level of comfort is reached from mutual communication.

What kinds of events can be in the database?

Almost every kind of event, from spectator sports games to culture clubs and concerts, can be posted. Members can add any number of events, such as an entire season of football games, or a Friday Night Dinner and Movie!

How would I cancel my membership?

Since DontGoAlone.com is the "hottest new site" on the web, we’re sure you will never wish to cancel.  But in the rare event that you do, we have created several time-consuming hoops that you’ll have to jump through to cancel your membership.  Just kidding!  Please just contact us with your username and your desire to cancel and you will be automatically removed from the member database at the end of your subscription term.  And we will gladly welcome you back at any future time.
