I just had to write and tell you what a great service you offer. I am new to Dallas and heard the best way to meet new people is to join a church with a great singles program. Well, I found some churches and singles Sunday school classes that I was interested in attending but the thought of walking into that room alone was something I couldn't do. Thank goodness for Dontgoalone.com! I joined and searched the site and found someone who was interested in some of the same activities. We talked in advanced and planned our visits together. It was so much better to walk into a room of strangers with someone else. I knew that I would have someone to sit with and talk to after the class was over. Dontgoalone.com definitely made the experience easier to do. Not only do I have a new church but I also have a new friend!

I am a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen -- (okay, call me a groupie, I don't mind!) Last month they were giving a concert in Sacramento and I had to go! Unfortunately I don't have many friends who would pay that much to see him. As much as I love Bruce there was no way I was going to walk into the Arena by myself and stand there all night alone - how embarrassing! I heard about DontGoAlone.com and immediately joined. What did I have to loose? It was so easy and inexpensive. I was thrilled when I found someone who love the E Street Band also. We ended up going to the concert together and had a great time. I'm Sheila and I love DontGoAlone.com! I needed some motivation to loose 15 pounds. I had been trying on my own for a couple years to no avail. Too often I would talk my way out of going to the gym. I tried those chat rooms to keep in touch with others whom are trying to loose weight too but that didn't really help. I'm a Senior at George Mason College and have always loved being around cars. I used to watch my dad and some of his friends make modifications to their cars, but none of my friends are into them. Then you say I.P., A-Line, or C-Pillar they look at you like you're a nut. Recently I saw a flyer for a car show that I wanted to go to, but I really didn't want to go by myself. Go figure...so when I got home I logged in, signed up for a month and a couple of days later I got an email from a guy in town that said he'd like to talk. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and decided to meet outside the show. He turned out to be a car freak like myself, and we had a great time.
